That is true for some but they really don't pay alot for players as they seem to find all these kids way early before their price is super high and they do a good job at developing them slowly by starting them off in the smaller English tournaments like the Carling Cup.Zitat von _tdd_
They actually go no where near the big amount of pay checks that Man U and Chelsea and Man City have been spending.
I do get where you are coming from and I totally understand about Werder Bremen not being able to do the same. I was just comparing their abilities to groom young players into very good players.
